Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do you restore a picture?
A. Every picture is handled differently when we start our restoring process. Some pictures have corner's missing, some have scratches or rust spots. We restore whatever problem each individual picture has.

Q. Can I tell you what the original colors are in the photographs?
A. Of course, we add realistic color to old photos, and the more information we have on the original colors, the more realistic it will look.

Q. How do we send you our photos?
A. First you need to scan your photos at 400 dpi (dots per inch), RGB (true color) output. Save the file as JPEG, jpg. "high" quality setting. Then email it to us by simply using your current email program and click the attachment button and send to jodee@restore-pictures.com.

Q. When and how do you get paid?
A. We don't ask to be paid until after you approve a sample photo. Then you have a choice to pay through pay pal, or mail us a money order.
